Can Chiropractic Help Me?

Chiropractic care has allowed millions of people worldwide suffering from all types of problems, and not just back and neck ailments, to feel relief and has improved their overall health and well being. Chiropractic care works with correcting the spinal column and its relationship with the nervous system.  Optimizing the communication between the two, allows irritation and stress to be eliminated and for better health to be achieved.

Chiropractic care also allows non-musculoskeletal conditions to be treated as a result of spinal corrections.  While it is not a fool proof guarantee fix, many patients have claimed relief from such ailments including, ear infections, arthritis, asthma, and headaches.

Adjustments and other chiropractic techniques have allowed chiropractors to be established as neck and back injury specialists. Chiropractic care is on the rise and many medical experts are beginning to see the positive changes it is bringing to patients’ health.

How Long Will It Take?

Treatment lengths vary from person to person.

Newer injuries, if treated appropriately and immediately, tend to respond to fewer visits assuming that major tissue injury has not occurred. Many first time injuries can be managed in as little as 3 to 4 visits. If conditions that have been present for greater than 3 months or if the patient has recurring conditions, these take up to 12 visits of more.

The only sure way to determine how long your treatment will take is to schedule a consultation and examination.

Individuals waiting for problems to go away on their own, only prolongs the pain and will require more treatments to help optimize health.

How Much Will It Cost?

Costs vary and generally depend on the number of treatments required to effectively treat your condition. We accept most insurance and complete all the billing paperwork.

Do I Have To Keep Coming Back For Treatments?

You may have heard the phrase that once you go to a chiropractor you have to keep going back. Before we answer that question, ask yourself how many times have you visited a mechanic for your car? Like many, you’ve gone several times for the sole purpose of cars needing regular oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and so on.  The body requires the same attention and care.

Once Dr. Kaput has eliminated your pain and rehabilitated the injured tissues, he encourages you to maintain a schedule of spinal checkups. The key to optimizing your health is prevention.  Prevention decreases the chance of reoccurrence in existing health conditions and helps to minimize the chance of new injuries in the future.

So the answer is yes, we want you to keep coming back, but just periodically. Dr. Kaput wants you to feel you absolute best and the best way to do so is to keep your spinal column properly aligned.

Are Chiropractic Treatments Safe and Do They Hurt?

Chiropractic treatments are very safe and can be administered from infants to beyond. What makes chiropractic care safe is that the care is both noninvasive and natural and has a holistic approach.

The treatments themselves are generally not painful and many patients actually look forward to their treatments because of the instantaneous relief they feel afterwards. Individuals who have prior moderate to severe pain may experience some minor discomfort; however, our care is always gentle and safe.
